It all started in 2014.
JobKred started out as a weekend project, while co-founders Gary and Steven were still in full-time jobs. Initially with an emphasis on finding out how to quantify a person's job credibility (Job-Kred), the big data research was carried out over many months, and led to the creation of the algorithms used by JobKred today.
Inspired by Gary's personal experiences as a small business and startup owner, the focus turned to helping companies with one of their major challenges - recruitment. Finding a good hire can be tricky and tedious, but it remains a critical component of a company's success.
Despite being a problem companies have been facing, there was no real solution other than sifting through hundreds of candidates and hoping the needle in the haystack is found.
Using JobKred's technology, companies can now quickly and accurately find the right hires to accelerate their business growth.
Similarly, both founders having been self-taught (Steven for Data Science, Gary for Digital Marketing), the need for a better learning and career management platform is clear. With the power of big data to provide real-time and predictive guidance, individuals can now get instant feedback and advice on what skills to learn that employers are looking for, or what job is best for their career growth, thus helping people stay relevant to the job market changes.
